CallerID for restaurants & takeout

Spend less of the rush repeating customer details.

A returning customer should not feel like a first-time caller. Caller recognition through compatible POS software helps your team find the right record, confirm the details and get on with the order.

Only $1.88 per business day. $49/month · $199 one-time setup · 36-month initial commitment.
Daily equivalent assumes 26 operating days/month at six days/week; excludes setup. Applicable tax and shipping additional.

The connection—not another system

Your phone. Your compatible POS. A better starting point.

CallerID connects incoming caller information to compatible restaurant software. Customer names, contact details or order history come from the records and features that software supports.

It is not a new POS, a telephone service or an automated ordering assistant. Your team still confirms the caller, takes the order and provides the service.

Calls you recognize from your day

Less starting over. More getting the order right.

From a familiar pickup order to a changed delivery address, context helps your team ask the questions that actually matter.

Returning takeout caller

Find the customer. Then confirm the order.

A regular calls while the counter is busy. When your compatible POS links the incoming number to an existing record, staff can start with the customer’s name and available order information rather than re-entering every detail.

Past orders can inform the conversation when your software makes them available. Always confirm today’s choices; never assume “the usual.”

Delivery details

Confirm what changed—not everything again.

A customer has ordered before but is calling from a different delivery location today. Use the existing record as a starting point, then confirm the delivery address, access instructions and contact details for this order.

Recognition is a starting point, not proof that an old address or instruction is still correct.

A busy shift handoff

Personal service should not depend on who answers.

The staff member answering may not know every regular by voice. Caller recognition can help them locate the same customer record their teammate would use, so they can respond with context and focus on the order in front of them.

Keep allergen and dietary confirmation in your normal ordering process. Caller recognition does not replace it.

Illustrative scenarios, not customer testimonials or guaranteed outcomes. The information available depends on records in your compatible software and the integration’s capabilities. Always confirm the caller and relevant details.

Compatibility before commitment

Will it work at your counter?

Choose your POS from our existing software list and select Analog or VoIP before choosing a device.

  • Your restaurant softwareSearch by software or company name, then select your platform from the existing software list.
  • Analog or VoIPSelect your telephone service type. We don’t need your phone-provider name. Device capacity is separate from purchased phone-service lines.
  • What staff can seeConfirm which customer fields and order-history features your compatible POS makes available.

Be specific about what works.

No POS platform is universally compatible. CallerID helps connect a call to compatible software; it does not supply missing customer records or guarantee that every field appears.

A modest cost. A decision worth checking.

Only $1.88
per business day.

Recognize returning callers. Spend less time searching and more time serving customers—for $49 a month, plus a $199 one-time setup.

Daily equivalent: $49 ÷ 26 average operating days per month, rounded to the nearest cent. Assumes six days/week. Setup is not included in the daily figure. Billed monthly, with a 36-month initial commitment; applicable tax and shipping additional. The ROI example and calculator separately include setup spread over 36 months: $54.53 average monthly cost.

14 orders / month

One restaurant illustration—not a forecast. At $14.50 per order and a 30% contribution margin after variable costs, 14 additional completed orders in a month generate $60.90 in contribution. Against $54.53 average monthly cost, that leaves $6.37.

The mathematical minimum is 13; 14 adds one order of buffer. This covers one average month, not the whole commitment. Existing sales and saved time alone do not create this contribution.

Before you decide

The details matter.

Straight answers for a practical business decision.

Does recognizing a caller automatically place or repeat an order?

No. Caller recognition helps your team locate information through compatible software. Staff still confirm the customer, today’s order, prices, delivery details and any dietary requirements. Available order history depends on your POS and integration.

Are 14 additional orders a month a promised result?

No. It is a restaurant illustration using a $14.50 ticket and 30% contribution margin after variable costs. Fourteen additional completed orders per month produce $60.90 contribution against $54.53 average monthly subscription and allocated setup cost. Thirteen is the mathematical minimum; fourteen adds a one-order buffer. There is no predicted conversion rate or guarantee of additional orders.

What exactly is included for $49/month?

One 4-line Deluxe Analog OR one 4-channel Vertex VoIP device, telephone technical support and covered replacement while the subscription is active. There is a $199 one-time setup charge and a 36-month initial commitment. These are alternative devices, not two devices. Telephone service is not included. Other capacities and existing integrations can be discussed separately.

Will CallerID work with my software and phone service?

Caller recognition depends on compatible POS or business software, its version, the supported device connection and your telephone service configuration. Available customer details depend on what your software stores and what its integration supports. Compatibility must be checked before enrollment; no universal software, protocol, firmware or provider compatibility is promised. Deluxe can be configured for Basic behavior, subject to the specific integration and configuration being confirmed.

What support and replacement coverage is included?

Telephone technical support and covered device replacement apply only while the subscription remains active. No on-site service is included. Power-surge and lightning damage, misuse, liquid damage and unauthorized modification are excluded. Replacement shipping is not represented as free; shipping arrangements and exact coverage wording require confirmation.

How do renewal, cancellation and equipment returns work?

Request a quotation to receive the complete subscription agreement, including equipment ownership, renewal, cancellation, notice and return requirements, before deciding. This page does not enroll you, accept payment or authorize recurring charges.

How is the $1.88 business-day price calculated?

The recurring $49 monthly subscription is divided by an average of 26 operating days per month: six days per week × 52 weeks ÷ 12 months. That is $1.88 per business day, rounded to the nearest cent. This is a comparison, not daily billing. The $199 one-time setup is separate and is not included in the $1.88 figure. The initial commitment is 36 months. Applicable tax and shipping are additional. The ROI calculator includes setup spread over the initial term when calculating average monthly cost.

Can a distributor or POS partner discuss a different requirement?

Yes. Select Distributor / POS partner in the compatibility inquiry, then request a quotation. Existing partner arrangements remain private; this page does not establish or change partner commercial terms.

Your assumptions. Your numbers.

What would it take to cover the cost?

Explore additional or retained completed transactions per month that you assume would otherwise be lost. Start at zero. This is a scenario, not a prediction.

Contribution is sales less variable costs, such as food, parts, materials and transaction-specific labor. Use your own business figures. Prefilled ticket and margin are illustrative, not industry averages.

ILLUSTRATIVE MONTHLY COMPARISON

Contribution after variable costs
$0.00
Average subscription + setup cost
$54.53
−$54.53monthly contribution after subscription + allocated setup cost

With zero assumed additional or retained transactions, there is no added contribution to offset the cost.

13 completed transactions / month is the mathematical minimum at these assumptions, rounded up.

Cost basis: $49 + ($199 ÷ 36) = $54.53 average monthly cost. Setup is paid separately, not monthly. Sales = ticket × transactions. Contribution = sales × margin. Balance = contribution − average monthly cost. Minimum = cost ÷ contribution per transaction, rounded up when contribution is positive.

Existing sales and saved staff time do not inherently create added revenue. This is not a conversion forecast, a cash-payback calculation or a guarantee. Covering an average month does not repay the full 36-month commitment.
