The Challenge

Every Unanswered or Mishandled Call Costs More Than You Think

Long-term care facilities handle hundreds of calls a day — from family members, physicians, pharmacies, and discharge planners. Without CallerID connected to your EHR, every call starts from zero.

Staff Answer Blind

Without CallerID tied to your resident database, staff must ask "who are you calling for?" on every call — a poor experience for family members and a time drain on your team.

Safety and Response Delays

In skilled nursing and memory care, knowing instantly who is calling — and which resident they are associated with — is a safety issue, not just a convenience. Seconds matter.

No EHR Connection

Your EHR holds resident and contact records. Your phone system holds incoming numbers. Without a bridge between them, your staff is manually connecting those dots — every single call.

How It Works

Plug In. Match Callers. Answer With Confidence.

1

Device Connects to Your Phone Line

The CallerID.com device connects inline with your existing phone system — analog, VoIP, or hybrid. No rewiring, no phone system upgrade.

2

Incoming Number Is Captured

The moment a call arrives, CallerID.com captures the caller's number and passes it to your integrated software in real time.

3

EHR Looks Up the Caller

Your EHR matches the number to a resident contact record and pops the resident's profile on screen — before the call is answered.

4

Staff Answer With Full Context

"Good afternoon, Mrs. Johnson — calling about your mother in Room 214?" That level of service, on every call, with no extra effort from staff.

Use Cases

Who Uses CallerID.com in Long-Term Care

Skilled Nursing Facilities

High call volumes from family members, physicians, pharmacies, and therapy providers. CallerID.com lets nurses and front-desk staff handle calls faster and route them correctly the first time.

Assisted Living Communities

Family members expect a personal touch. When staff can greet a caller by name and immediately pull up their loved one’s record, it builds trust and differentiates your community.

Memory Care Units

Knowing immediately that it is a resident’s adult child calling — before the call is answered — allows staff to prepare the right response and give the most current update without fumbling for records.

Frequently Asked Questions

Do we need to change our phone system?

No. CallerID.com works with any analog, VoIP, or hybrid phone system. The device connects inline with your existing lines — no replacement, no rewiring, no IT project.

Is there a subscription fee for residents or family members?

No. CallerID.com is a one-time hardware purchase for the facility. There is no per-resident fee and no charge for family members who call in.

Which EHR platforms does CallerID.com integrate with?

We are currently developing integrations with PointClickCare, MatrixCare / SigmaCare, Netsmart myUnity, Altera Digital Health, Yardi Senior Living, MEDITECH Expanse, and Alis by Aline. Contact us to join the early-access list for your platform.

How does the integration with the EHR actually work?

When a call arrives, the CallerID.com device captures the caller’s number and sends it to the EHR integration layer. The EHR looks up the number against resident contact records and pops the matching profile on screen — all before the call is answered.

When will the EHR integrations be available?

We are in active development with each vendor’s Technology Partner Program. Contact us and we will notify you as soon as the integration for your platform is ready.
