Private and Out of Area Calls

If caller ID shows "P" (Private) or "O" (Out of Area), this is NOT a device issue.

• P = Private/Restricted — The caller has blocked their number
• O = Out of Area — The phone company cannot deliver caller ID for that call (international, certain carriers)

This behavior is controlled by the phone company and the caller, not by the CallerID device. No device can override caller-initiated blocking.
